The Desert Willow Golf Course, nestled against the Black Mountains of southern Nevada, is as distinctive as they come. Characterized by its thousands of well-established pine trees and more than 40,000 bales of pine needles used as out-of-play ground cover, the beautiful course offers a forested feel in the desert environment. Desert Willow was designed by PGA Tour Hall-of-Famer Billy Casper and architect Greg Nash. The duo incorporated manicured fairways, rolling greens, colorful accenting flowers and four serene lakes into the 18-hole, executive golf course, which measures 3,811 yards. The highly enjoyable course was selected as the “Best Executive Golf Course in Las Vegas” by VegasGolfer in 2005 and 2006. Golf Range Magazine ranked Desert Willow among its “Top Executive Golf Courses in America” for 2006 and 2007. In addition to its beautiful course, Desert Willow Golf Course offers a full practice facility featuring the largest driving range in Henderson, a putting area that stretches nearly 10,000 feet, and a chipping and short game area with an expansive practice bunker and targets. Desert Willow is also the only course in Las Vegas offering junior tees, making it a great course for a round with the whole family. The course offers a renowned junior golf program, as well as extensive teaching instruction for adults.
