It's easier than ever to get to Reno-Tahoe this winter season. The Reno-Tahoe International Airport has announced a bunch of new flights from all over the nation making your trip to northern Nevada quick and painless. And let's not forget that the Lake Tahoe region just received an epic snowfall with storm after storm this past week dumping up to an incredible seven feet of fresh powder! If Southwest is your airline of choice, they have a couple new flights servicing Reno-Tahoe. Southwest Airlines recently began a direct flight (same plane service) from Boston to Reno-Tahoe with one stop in Denver. A new Southwest nonstop flight from Phoenix began in January and a new nonstop flight from Boise will begin March 15. United Airlines has also joined in with the announcement of one additional non-stop flight from Los Angeles through March. Horizon Air won't be left out with the new nonstop daily service from Mammoth. And just in time for the Presidents' Day three-day holiday weekend (February 13-15), American Airlines will offer a new nonstop flight from Dallas/Ft. Worth four days a week beginning February 11. The Reno-Tahoe International Airport offers six airlines providing more than 120 daily nonstop flights. Once you've touched down, take the South Tahoe Express or North Tahoe Express shuttle that runs between the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and the Lake Tahoe ski resorts and you'll be on the slopes before you know it!
